Our take
I opted for the white version of the Cuisinart Mini-Prep and it's a great little chopper. The 12 oz bowl is perfect for small jobs like mincing garlic or chopping nuts. The two speeds and auto-reversing blade work well—it even handles ice for frozen drinks. Cleanup is easy since the removable parts are dishwasher safe. The touchpad controls are responsive. However, the ABS plastic feels a bit cheap, and the glossy white shows dirt quickly. For $17.00, it's a solid performer for its size. I just wish it were a bit sturdier.
